Your work is precious.
Publish them. Value yourself.

Lawded in a few words

We start from the principle that sharing all work is helpful and that each author has an interest in producing quality publications, both for the doctrinal community and for his own reputation.

In a few words, Lawded allows you to free to consult And publish legal work as well as broadcast within the social networks and in a newsletter monthly.

The platform is a tool combining cutting-edge technology and open access philosophy with the aim of offering you the opportunity to freely share your work with as many people as possible so that it has real practical use.

The platform is self-funded and operated for an ideal purpose.

The observation today in Switzerland

Today, Switzerland has approximately 10,000 law students who must necessarily produce legal work during their academic courses.

However, these students are not offered the opportunity to publish. Consequently, the work ends up in the majority of cases forgotten on anonymous hard drives, or even plagiarized.

However, this work is valuable. Firstly because they are an abundant source of recent studies and analyzes on various themes. Then, they are the result of substantial work, often lasting several months. And finally, because they are subject to evaluation within the academic framework.

You remain 100% owner

The work remains 100% ownership of their author and are not subject to a revision procedure.

On the other hand, we are putting in place mechanisms allowing the credibility of the authors to be assessed. For example, authors must publish under their real name, or any user can leave a appreciation in note form.

In practice, it is believed that authors know the value of their work and that they have a right not to be censored. As for the content produced, it is the responsibility of the credibility of the author. However, the latter, in the majority of cases, only writes a study which reproduces the opinions of the works of the most recent doctrine.

Moreover, for the reader, being free means that they have everything to gain from sharing under these conditions.

Gabriel Jaccard, Founder

The idea of a platform that allows the simple and uncompromising publication of student work came to me in 2015.

I then wanted to share my own study work with my friends and professional contacts in order to give them real practical use.

Today, I am proud that Lawded is responding to this situation by allowing everyone to share their knowledge freely.

Thank you for keeping this legal community alive!

Gabriel Jaccard,

Doctoral student in law at UNIGE in the field of blockchain,

Maxime Corpataux, Editor
